CONSUME is a pop art series that is a biting satirical take on pop culture, politics and products with a blunt social commentary on greed, corruption, narcissism, materialism, consumerism and more.

Inspired by the cult classic film, They Live, starring Roddy Piper and Keith David and Directed by John Carpenter, CONSUME has been shared millions of time around the internet and shown in galleries all around the world including a partnership with the 2016 Glastonbury Festival. Hefner’s pop art has served as a memetic engine for critique of our modern society in the same tradition as Carpenter’s original film with a propaganda art style and color scheme.
