Fire, Fire, Fire, Hiss - A Longlegs Song

by Hal Hefner

Longlegs has crawled into the cinematic horror conversation in a big way with it’s huge box office revenue stream and a creepy concept. Now the largest grossing Indie Horror film ever released in North America, Longlegs has burst onto the scene with a very low fi but smart marketing campaign filled with transmedia like content that made potential fans ask more question than answers.

Neon recently released another transmedia element to Longlegs. It’s an incredibly creepy song from the film, starring Nicholas Cage and Maika Monroe. The song is sung by Nicholas Cage who plays the serial killer, Dale Ferdinand Cobble, AKA Longlegs.

And we loved it so much here at Nerd Horror, we decided to make our own video of the song using imagery and clips from the Longlegs movie. We tried to match the trippy horror vibe while also overlaying some of the sounds/visuals from other videos Neon released to tease the film.
