WTF ARE THE CREATURES IN HALLE BERRY’S NEW FILM - NEVER LET GO?

The new Halle Berry horror movie looks pretty terrifying based on the snippets of the evil monsters hunting her family in the trailer. This movie seems to take the apocalyptic horror trope in a new direction and so far I’m so in. From director Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha 3D, Crawl), Never Let Go seems like a crazy new Sci-Fi horror film with some really creepy monsters. Academy Award winner Halle Berry is leading the film while it also stars Percy Daggs IV (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey) and Anthony B. Jenkins (Florida Man).
The main premise of Never Let Go seems to be about a woman and her two sons, being hunted by some horrific beasts that fall between paranormal activity and real monsters with a hint of a zombie vibe for victims of them. The internet is giving some conflicting synopsis as of now as well.
”When an unspeakable evil takes over the world, the only protection for a mother and her twin sons is their house and strong bond. Needing to stay connected at all times -- even tethering themselves with ropes -- they must cling to one another and never let go. So WTF is going on? After watching the trailer several times, it appears to be that the creatures are some kind of “Reptilian” monster. Here are some screen shots I took to get a better look at the creatures.
Here is the first time you see the reptilian snake humanoid, inside of a well hiding in the darkness
Here you can get a glimpse of the Reptilian monster's face which seems humanoid in nature with red markings on it and white and yellow scales covering its body
Here's another angle of the Reptilian Snake Man creature and it's black eyes and jawbone structure
Now putting my nerd detective hat on I can see these Reptilian creatures being a few things from Urban Legends and human lore.
OPTION 1: REPTILIAN ALIENS (ANNUNAKI)
These could be Reptilian aliens like the ones Giorgio Tsoukalos talks about on Ancient Aliens also known as the Annunaki from Sumarian legends.

OPTION 2: DINO MAN
Some scientists in the 80’s theorized that a kind of lizard-man could have evolved from the Dinosaurs and has been living among us in the shadows since the dawn of humankind. Possibly living in underground caves or so advanced technologically they travel between dimensions and or could be piloting UAP’s/UFO’s. This Dino man creature was first introduced by Paleontologist Dale Russell.

OPTION 3: A DEMONIC BEING
Some demons have been been described as Reptilian like. The devil was said to be a shapeshifter disguising himself as snake.

And as much as I am not a fan of Option 3 as I just don't think demons or any of that crap is feasible, there is an interesting shot, showing Halle Berry in what appears to be a bathtub and on her back is a large snake tattoo. So perhaps Option 3 is the answer. See the image below)

Then at the end of the trailer, there is a scene where this weird ass humanoid thing with a bunch of hands climbs up a tree. This also seems demonic in nature or even paranormal. It’s weird AF to say the least. See the image below.
WTF is this human centipede thing?
Then we have a scene where one of the sons is holding up a molted skin from that white skinned scaly dude from the well. So this just makes it all even more bizarre. (see image below)

Then we add in the whole premise of being tethered to the house and such and it almost feels like some kind of curse or something. So in conclusion I have no idea WTF these things are, which is honestly very good IMHO. But then in the 2nd trailer from 2 weeks ago, we get some praying and stuff and mention of “Heaven is here.” See for yourself:
I’d love to see something new and fresh because I ain’t gonna lie, Lizard People, freak me out. I am hoping for something creepy AF, more out of a Creepy Pasta thing where you’re left with more answers than questions. I guess we’ll find out when NEVER LET GO comes out on 09/20/2024.
