THE LIZARD MAN OF SCAPE ORE SWAMP (SOUTH CAROLINA)
In Lee County, the Lizard Man is described as a reptilian creature that stands over seven feet tall. Reports began in the 1980s, with witnesses claiming to see the creature lurking in the swamp. Local lore suggests that the Lizard Man may be a guardian of the swamp, and encounters with it are often accompanied by strange sounds and eerie feelings. Though reptilian aliens are common lore of the UFO community these creatures are believed to be Dino-sauroid creatures, literally living relics who evolved from the dinosaurs.
