THE ENFIELD HORROR (ENFIELD, IL)
In 1973, residents of Enfield reported a bizarre, three-legged creature with short arms and large, glowing red eyes. The creature attacked a local boy and damaged property, leading to panic throughout the town. Though it was only seen a few times, whatever “it” was left a lasting impression on the town and on cryptid enthusiasts. Based on this legend, Apple TV released the documentary series, The Enfield Poltergeist, in 2023.
