Terrifier 3 is Heading Back to Theaters!

by Justine Norton-Kertson

After its record-breaking success as the highest-grossing unrated film, Terrifier 3 is set to return to theaters for a limited engagement on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This special release was announced yesterday by Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse, and will feature an introduction by director Damien Leone and an exclusive sneak peek at "ART ATTACK," a behind-the-scenes documentary about the Terrifier films slated for release on SCREAMBOX next year.

In this third installment of the slasher franchise, Art the Clown, portrayed by David Howard Thornton, adopts a sinister Santa Claus persona, bringing terror to the holiday season. The film continues the harrowing journey of siblings Sienna and Jonathan Shaw, played by Lauren LaVera and Elliott Fullam, as they attempt to rebuild their lives following previous encounters with Art. Their efforts to embrace the Christmas spirit are shattered when Art returns, intent on turning their holiday into a nightmare.

Terrifier 3 hats intense and graphic content, with reports of audience members experiencing strong reactions during screenings. The film's opening scene, in particular, has drawn criticism from various groups for its controversial depiction of violence.

Tickets for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day showings are available now. Fans of the horror genre and the Terrifier series have the opportunity to experience Art the Clown's holiday havoc on the big screen once again.
